Sports Art painting of Mariano Rivera is 5 feet by 6 feet acrylic on unstretched canvas.  I painted him looking a bit older than he actually is.  Think of it as kind of like a painting where the image gets older but the actual person stays eternally young.  (Somewhat like Dorian Gray without the hedonism.

Mariano is a  pitcher who has played 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees. Nicknamed "Mo",[1] Rivera has spent most his career as a relief pitcher, and has served as the Yankees' closer since 1997. A 12-time All-Star and five-time World Series champion, he is MLB's all-time leader in saves (620) and games finished (906).
